Hina Joshi is a certified health and wellness coach from the Institute of Functional medicine. In addition to being a health coach, I have a doctorate in physical therapy from University of MD Baltimore. I am also a certified McKenzie therapist, and am certified in dry needling and yoga .
As a daughter of an immigrant from India, and being part of a family of ten children; I was always told what to do. I was raised with Indian values and cultures where nothing was questioned. However, I have been curious all my life and still questioned my mom and my mother in law all the time regarding different customs and traditions.
This curiosity of finding answers for every challenge that I face in life with children, in my career or relationship has always pushed me to get more answers. This curiosity led me to functional medicine because I was tired of a healthcare system where power of our health lies in the hands of professionals that have very little time. I enjoy listening to people stories, understand where they are coming from and provide necessary help to make a difference in their life. I believe in the power that a well balanced life has on a person's health.
